Longtime environmental activist Daryl Hannah and around 30 protesters, including Climate control expert and NASA scientist James Hansen, were arrested in West Virginia after blocking off a road into a coal processing plant in Raleigh County on Tuesday.
According to Dailymail, Hannah and her crews were protesting against mountaintop removal mining (MTR), which involves blasting the mountain summit off to expose coal seams.
The 48-year-old "Kill Bill" star was booked on misdemeanor charges of obstruction and impeding traffic. Seriously, I applaud Daryl for participating in this protest, it's a very worthy cause.
