Serendipity 3 restaurant shut down over health violations!!!

Serendipity 3, a well known East Side restaurant for its $25,000 frozen hot chocolate, has been shut down by the city Department of Health after failing its second consecutive inspection in a month on Wednesday night. According to The New York Times,

Both inspections revealed rodent and fly infestation and conditions conducive to pest infestation, including stagnant water in the basement.

An inspector spotted a live mouse and mouse droppings, flies and more than 100 live cockroaches.
