Pakistani man Zafar Gill has broke the world-record for "ear-lifting" in Vienna Sunday, after carrying almost 62 kilograms (137 pounds) from a cord attached to his right ear. His feat earned him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records, as part of a day of record-breaking attempts in the Austrian capital, organised under the slogan "Vienna - Recordbreaker".

Gill, who himself only weighs 90 kilos, had to use a special headgrip to protect both his ear and temple, as he lifted the record-breaking 61.7 kilos for seven seconds about 10 centimetres (four inches) off the ground. He trains everyday but insists he has never had any hearing problems due to his peculiar hobby.
