Hungarian escape artist David Merlini breaks world records for longest time under water without air

Hungarian escape artist, David Merlini, broke the world record for the longest time under water without air at the Hollywood, California, Oct. 10, 2007. Merlini, who was chained and handcuffed under water in a glass tank, managed to stay underwater without air for 10 miniutes and 17 seconds. He tried but failed to create the record in his previous attempt on Oct. 9, 2007 due to cold weather.
