Qian Hongyan aims to be swimming at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London

Qian Hongyan, 10, who used a basketball as a prosthetic to move around after lost her lower body in a horrific car crash, has joined a swimming club and begun training to fulfill her dream of competing in the 2012 Paralympics in London. Although she has a pair of hi-tech prosthetic limbs, she still uses the basketball during a routine training session in the South Of The Clouds swimming club.
