Barry Bond's record-breaking ball auctioned for $752,467

San Francisco Giants' Barry Bond'srecord-breaking home run ball was auctioned for more than $750,000!!! According to SCP, an unidentified bidder paid $752,467.20 in an online auction run by SCP Auctions Inc, which sells sports' collectibles' in partnership with Sotheby's.

Bonds, 43, hit his 756th homer, beating Hank Aaron'smajor league baseball record, in the fifth inning of his MLB National League baseball game against the Washington Nationals in San Francisco, California August 7, 2007.

Matt Murphy, a 22-year-old tourist visiting from New York who grabbed the ball in the San Francisco stands last month, put the ball up for auction through SCP.
