Kandu the dog, born without front legs, he could barely move. His owner even took him to the vet to be put down – but instead he was given a new lease of life thanks to a speedy set of wheels.
Martin Kaufmann, from US firm Orthopets, designed Kandu's wheels – and even added a ski for winter.
Now Kandu is only too happy to share his love of life and is part of the Heeling Friends group, which takes animals to hospitals as part of therapy sessions.
He was adopted by Ken Rogers, from Colorado, who said: 'He's got an infectious personality. When he goes to a hospital he brings a smile to everyone's face. Link
