A giant inflatable house thrills a crowd in Wuyuan, Jiangxi, by setting a record as world’s largest circular inflatable houses.

It cost 160,000 yuan and could withstand typhoons, with force 6 or 8 winds. It had a diameter of 24 meters – slightly bigger than the size of a basketball court. The 8m tall “giant” is made up by 30 skilled workers within 10-day period, consumed nearly 1.3 tonnes of materials.

The circular inflatable housing needed 12 air blowers working simultaneously for more than 20 minutes to blow it up and maintain the shape. The “giant” height is about the size of 3-story buildings, once inflated. In addition, the inflated house can accommodate up to 600 people. Also, it can be used as temporary buildings for festivals and exhibitions. Link
